By installing, accessing, or using SniffIt ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EEA) to use SniffIt.
SniffIt is a buyer-protection tool that analyzes online stores and product pages and displays risk signals to help you make better purchasing decisions. The Service is provided as an informational aid only.
Important: SniffIt's warnings and scores are estimates based on available signals. They are not financial, legal, or commercial advice. Always use your own judgment before making a purchase.
Accounts are optional. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you notice unauthorized access.

SniffIt, the logo, scoring algorithms, content, and software are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
If you submit feedback or reports, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use that feedback to improve the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that every scam will be detected, every price comparison will be accurate, or that the Service will always be available or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SniffIt and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service — including lost money on a purchase, missed deals, or inability to access the Service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
You can stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension or deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Provisions that should reasonably survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where SniffIt is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis, except where prohibited by law. Nothing here waives your statutory consumer rights.
We may update these Terms occasionally. If changes are material, we'll give you at least 14 days' notice in the extension or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
